This is the before look ...
This is the almost finished after look ...
Aimee and I have a home that features an open floor plan ....but with that said ... everything seems to blend in together ....so after 3 years of planning we decided to add a little warmth and coziness to our kitchen by adding a little wood on the ceiling!
It turned out great and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to make a difference in their home!

Hi Rob Thomas , I can see why adding wood to a kitchen has become a popular thing to do.
I love that change...I think wood is such a warm feeling especially in the fire place
Good Thursday morning Rob. Very nice! I hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Good morning Rob. Definitely a great touch! Enjoy Thanksgiving day and some football!
Can't tell if you changed the kitchen cabinetry from first photo, but the ceiling job done, AWSOME, really looks good.
Rob

WOW! I wouldn't have had any complaints about the original kitchen but with your vision, the transformation was a success! I'd have no complaints at all with the new looks and without seeing how it all came to fruition, I wouldn't know what I was missing either - nor could I live without it and go back to the way things were!
Your creative vision and implementation paid off and will set your home apart should you decide to sell in the future. Great work Rob!!!
Rob, we are seeing many homes adding T & G to the ceilings too, and it sure did make a difference in the kitchen! Love it!
Rob we bought our home with Wood Ceiling in the Kitchen, Diane loved it.... little did I know it was trendy... and I thought it was strange but said OK...funny I will have to show Diane your Kitchen. BTW I love the layout, Endre
